- 2. Add your first line: choose the kind (Labour or Material), type a description, quantity, and unit cost, then click 'Add line'.
- 3. For material lines, enter a waste allowance percentage (e.g., 10) to cover offcuts you buy but don't use.
- 4. Enter a callout figure (e.g., 250) if you want to see what an all-in price leaves after VAT and cost.
- 5. Review the results: markup and margin shown side by side in rands, with VAT taken out correctly and any below-cost warning displayed.
